Téléfoot, Mediapro’s new pay-TV French soccer channel, has unveiled a mobile-only subscription offering priced at €14.90 (US$17.63) per month for its live Ligue 1 soccer content.
That promotion only allows access via smartphones and tablets but presents a low entry price point as one of four payment options announced ahead of Téléfoot’s official launch on 17th August.
Subscribers can also opt to pay rolling €25.90 (US$30.66) monthly fees or a basic €269.90 (US$319.50) annual contract to also be able to view the channel via PCs and smart TVs in 4K HDR.
A fourth payment option, as reported by SportsPro on 31st July, includes a bundled offer with the global over-the-top (OTT) subscription service Netflix, priced at €29.90 (US$35.39) per month, with a one-year commitment.
That deal will provide consumers with a standard Netflix service, which is usually priced at €11.99 (US$14) per month and separate access to Téléfoot’s live soccer platform.
All Téléfoot’s digital subscriptions provide access to ten weekly top-flight Ligue 1 matches for the next three seasons, secured under Mediapro’s €1.15 billion (US$1.33 billion) per year deal with the Professional Football League (LFP).
